Small Successes

FaithButton
Thursday is time for celebrating all those little things that are done in a week that may not seem like much but are successes.
*this morning I clipped the boys finger and toe nails without major incident.  That’s a first 🙂

*today I managed to motivate myself in spite of serious crankiness, of the no nap and cutting a molar variety, and got out to run some errands.  Only got half of what I set out for but we were out of the house and we got milk and that’s a success in my world.

*I finished the quilt blocks for the first wedding gift I need to finish.  I’m hoping to finish the top tomorrow because hope springs eternal.

*I worked out once this week.  🙂  Not at all as much as I would like but better than nothing which is what I had been doing.

*the spell checker did not find any misspellings just now when I checked this post 🙂

And there you have it.  Some weeks are just getting by weeks.  And some seasons are full of just getting by weeks 😉

Motivated through serious crankiness is a HUGE success! Way to go!

Sounds like you did much more than “just getting by”. Congrats on a successful week. Our little man cut all 4 molars at the same time…Lord, grant me strength…

I'd love to hear from you!
