Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Every Thursday at Like Mother, Like Daughter

I was privileged to be in the wedding party of one of my best friends in the entire universe last weekend.  It was absolutely beautiful, every bit of it.

Happy to be enjoying each other’s company.  Happy to see best friends who we don’t see anywhere near enough.  Happy to be celebrating the newlyweds.  Happy to have my heels off and finally have eaten a yummy lunch.

So I was gonna post the picture Bigger took of the bride and I at dinner the night before but the WeatherMan didn’t see the value in an out of focus picture of our necks (go figure) and deleted it to make space on the memory card.  And I didn’t think to take a picture of the groom climbing through the window into the driver’s seat with his sweetheart while we were running errands the day before the wedding, which was also pretty funny.  That leaves me with a picture of the bunch of us who went to college together cracking ourselves up.

The very pretty, very happy, very funny, very tired, and very real Mr and Mrs!
Thank you for having me as a part of such a special day!  I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have you as a friend.
