~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Every Thursday at Like Mother, Like Daughter!

Littler loves painting, he asks to paint almost every day we have “Special Mama and Littler School” (when Bigger is at preschool.)

Robot boys.  We don’t even have to dress up the boxes to look like robots.  I love how happy it makes them.  (As you can see, I cleared the box collection out of my room but it was reclaimed before making it to the recycling bins.  Still counts though, right?)

It was loud outside at bedtime.  And he fell asleep covering his ears.  Yes, he really was asleep.
I posted recently about solutions I’ve found and somehow managed to leave this out.  I had gotten some great advice for helping my leftie with his learning to write when I posted about what a, ummm, creative problem solver he is.  Actually more like what we would call a wise butt.
Anyway, I found this wipe off practice book and both boys L-O-V-E it.  And he looks so studious, doesn’t he?   Just before he covers the whole page with marker.

LOL … the robot boys and covering his ears while asleep were soo funny to me!

And I have a leftie too!! Thankfully he loves writing soo that hasn't been a problem… he just thinks different and so sometimes normal/daily tasks are made into issues. I just need to really get inside his head sometimes to figure out why there is an issue in the first place;) Definitely adds some “spice” to our family:)

  2. Sweet! I remember those days well. Enjoy them!
