Right now… The boys are at the park and I’m eating some breakfast and watching Olympics. Brazil just won their first gymnastics medal – gold!
This weekend… was nothing special. Watched lots of Olympics, read lots of books, grocery shopped, went to Mass, a growth spurt for the baby girl and therefore much time tethered to the couch for Mama.
Some plans for the week… the WeatherMan is going back to work later in the week so I need to get organized for starting my day super early and being on our own till bedtime. I think we’re going to Zellers to see if they have any pack’n’plays left because ours is busted… it’s a long story and I am not happy but what can you do. Maybe they’ll have some bouncy seats too… Anyway, it’s a big week of getting back to normal. Or finding our new normal might be a better description.
If I find some time for myself… I would be amazed. I’m pretty much gonna be just trying to keep my head above water this week. But I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to get organized and figure out some ways to declutter the apartment (because the mess makes me anxious and anxiety makes me crabby and crabbiness makes life no fun for anyone.) And finish the sleeves on the sweater in progress, I only have about 8 rows total so it should be doable. But we’ll see.
I am grateful for… a baby who gains weight and sleeps, boys who are helpful and lavish in their kisses for their baby sister, the WeatherMan, chocolate, sunshine,
Some prayer intentions… for a calm week,
Something that makes me smile…
It didn’t last long but it was impressive.
