Yarn Along

Just a quick Yarn Along today – still figuring out the new set up here and so much else to do.  And not so much done.  This week I did really enjoy The Little Women Letters though.  One of those books you’re sorry to finish because you enjoy the characters, although the ending was almost a little too tidy.  But sometimes that’s nice 🙂  Now I’m reading How to Train Your Dragon.  I picked it up for 50 cents at the library and wanted to be sure it was a good one for Bigger for Christmas.  He’s into dragons and in need of some chapter books so it seems like a good fit.  And so far (2 pages in) I’m enjoying it.  Hopefully it wont take me long to finish and will be a keeper.

As for knitting, not much happened.  Maybe this week, maybe this week.  There are just too many things getting between me and the needles – good books, sweet babies who are learning to sleep in the evenings, dishes, trying to learn a new blog site and hopefully moving the rest of the blog to join it, attempting to plan Advent and Christmas!  Any tips for WordPress or for finding wooden toy farm animals that wont cost a quarter   of the Christmas budget?  And as you can see, I need some practice with my posts 🙂  But ain’t she cute?  With no yarn candy pictures this week I figured some baby would be an acceptable subsitute.

    She is adorable!
Can I ask how you moved your blog? I would love to do the same, but don’t know what to do.

It was pretty easy – registered for a blog here and there are instructions for importing your blogger to here (basically saving it to your computer and then uploading it to WordPress.)

  2. Love the cutie patootie baby pictures!

I’ve found WordPress to be very user-friendly, so if you have any questions or problems, let me know.
