Yarn Along

Not much to tell today – (pretty much) same books, same project.  But I have to do a little happy dance because I finished the knitting!  Just need to bind off and block it.  I need to get onto YouTube and find some videos to learn a picot bind off to finish it up so it will be fun to learn something new too.  Hopefully next week it will be off on it’s way 🙂  (I dream big.)  And for extra fun, my mom brought me these cute buttons for the Puerperium I knit for the Smallest.  She probably just about fits it so I need to get those on and get it on her because she is not this small any more!

As for reading, I went a little crazy with the ebooks yesterday.  Holds at the library, downloads to my nook, and even downloaded Kindle for the computer and a couple freebies.  I’ll be busy for a while for sure.  And I can’t wait to see what else I come across in the coming weeks.

Speaking off which, I’m heading over to small things to see what else is happenin’ in the blogosphere.  I’m sure I’ll find even more good books and awesome knitting 🙂  I love Wednesday!

I always love the yarn along because I get so many wonderful book ideas…of course the majority of the time it has me staying up way too late to finish just one more page 🙂 Would love to hear what you got for your nook! I am looking for some new e-books to load 🙂

Cute buttons! I did the picot bind off for the first time for my sunlight shawl and it wasn’t too bad! I think it looks pretty good, actually! Good luck and good reading! Don’t have an ereader, but went online yesterday and ordered some books into my library from internet…just wondering how soon I’ll get them!
