It’s no secret that I love Yarn Along. Especially when I’m making progress. 🙂 Just look at that – it’s actually starting to look sweater-like! I’m so proud. Only about 40 rows to go. Done in no time, right? I hope so anyway.
And I finished a book this week too, My Sisters the Saints by Colleen Carroll Campbell. Continuing my string of “spiritual memoirs” that I seem to be on at the moment. I love reading about people’s experiences of faith and how that faith is incorporated into their lives. I have a copy of The Simple Faith of Mister Rodgers on my shelf, maybe I’ll add that to my Lenten reading attempt pile. I’m also interested to read more about Edith Stein after these two last reads – both included her and she sounds like a very interesting saint.
Happy Wednesday! Happy Yarn Along!
look at you go! It will be a sweater in no time.
Way to go, Kate! You’ll have a sweater yet.
I adored Mr. Rogers growing up. I hope you like the book.
What sweater pattern are you knitting?? It looks lovely.
It’s “Shalom” and the pattern is free on Ravelry 🙂
Lovely knitting and I bet you you have finished it by reading this comment 🙂
very pretty! such a fun and flattering pattern!
I have a Mr Rogers book at home (but for the life of me, I can’t remember the title). I found episodes on Amazon Prime on out tv. I haven’t set it up yet for my daughter to watch.
Yay for progress. 🙂 I’ve been wanting to read the Mr. Rogers book for some time. I keep forgetting to look for it when I’m at the library and bookstore.
Just found your blog today! Would love to have the name of that beautiful sweater and even better the pattern
Thank you
The pattern is called Shalom and it’s a free download on Ravelry. 🙂
